| SONS OF THUNDER TET 29908 (Chariot of Clouds x All Things to All Men). 6”, 24”, 3-way branching (range of 2-5 way), 15 buds (range of 10-25, and should be more going south based on strong greenhouse performance), Sev, M, Re, EMO, fr. Violet cranberry; purple lavender eye etched in cranberry purple; purple lavender plus ivory edge; olive throat. Darker in cool weather and eye is more of a uniform color – see pictures on website. Strong performer during the “Midwest malaise” of 2012 and the cold, wet 2013 season. A beautiful flower that is a visitor favorite in our club’s off-scape shows. Blooms may sometimes show a couple of small white spots – see example on website. Fertile both ways, producing fancy offspring with beautiful saturated color.
